Cultivo Coffee is a concept project for a fictional specialty coffee brand rooted in Mexico's mountainous growing regions. The design challenge was building a brand that could hold two things at once — the warmth of small-farm storytelling and the editorial restraint of a premium product.

Color logic — The palette draws from the harvest itself — warm kraft, muted sage, and raw linen — colors pulled directly from the coffee cherry, the burlap sack, and the mountain landscape. Nothing was introduced that couldn't exist on the farm.

Type system — The hierarchy balances a serif that carries the brand's artisanal weight against clean, understated supporting type — editorial enough to signal premium quality, grounded enough to stay honest to the agricultural origin story.

Image curation — Every image was chosen to close the distance between the consumer and the source. Weathered hands, raw cherries, roasting drums, and pour-overs in quiet kitchens — the selection moves from field to cup deliberately, making the supply chain feel like something worth caring about.
