Sandals & Boots is a boutique candle brand built around two distinct identities — the breezy, coastal feeling of Caribbean Florida and the upscale, urban living of Texas. Every candle is hand-poured with natural ingredients: coconut soy, beeswax, and zero carcinogens.
The website needed to match that duality — clean enough to feel elevated, warm enough to feel approachable — while supporting a full e-commerce experience on Squarespace.
Type system — Libre Baskerville for headings brings timeless elegance without formality; paired with Montserrat for body copy, the combination reads clean and upscale without competing with itself.
Color logic — Two distinct palettes reflect the brand's dual identity: ocean-influenced blues and sandy neutrals for the Sandals line, charcoal and warm grey tones for the Boots line — each grounded in the lifestyle it represents.
E-commerce structure — Squarespace's native commerce tools — category filtering, shipping calculation, and promotional pricing — were built into the site architecture from the start, not added after.
